I remember on cold days in Rome watching people roast chestnuts on the street corner and selling them on newspaper. They were sold for .10 cents about 45 years ago! The smell was absolutely phenomenon. I can’t never forget that smell… hmmm
Ingredients
2lb Chestnuts
For this recipe you need a pizza pan.The pizza pan it shown on the side picture.
Make a little cut across the top of the chestnuts. They need to be a little open to allow it to cook throughly; otherwise, they will explode! 🙂
Add the chestnuts to the pizza pan.
Turn the oven to 400F and add the chestnuts for 30 minutes. Make sure you stir them at least once.
