This is a great way to eat Brussels sprouts. I made this recipe at work today. The staff really enjoyed it! I had so many compliments that I decided it would be worth it sharing it with you. Hope you enjoy it as well. This dish goes every well with the Baked Pork Chops.
Serving: 6 people
Ingredients
1 Sweet Onion
2lb Brussels Sprouts
1 cup Orange Juice
1 cup Shredded 3 Cheese Cheddar or Pepper Jack Cheese
1 stick Butter
Salt
Pepper

Preparation
Wash and cut the Brussels sprouts in half
Boil the Brussels sprouts for about 7 minutes
On a frying pan, add the butter.
Once the butter melts, add diced onions.
Let the onions caramelize for a few minutes.
Add salt and pepper.
Drain the Brussels Sprouts and add to the onions.
Stir to combine it very well
Add a bit more salt and pepper to the Brussels Sprouts
Add the orange juice
Let it cook for about 5 minutes or until the juice has evaporated
Add 3/4 cup cheese and stir it.
To serve, sprinkle the cheese (~1/4 cup) and garnish with parsley.
Serve it warm

Enjoy. Buon Appetito!

Your Brussels Sprout recipe was fantastic!!!! I served it at a dinner party last week. Everyone loved it. The orange juice is not to overpowering…. just a hint of citrus. I served this with a pork rib roast. I am always looking for ways to incorporate more veggies into my diet. I am not a fan of brussels sprout but now I am! Grazie Bella!

Ciao, Bella — This is a great dish; made a Brussels sprouts lover out of Bill who would formerly never touch the vegetable! Thank you for sharing. Tante mille grazie.
