Bistecca in Italian means Steak. This plate is Steak with Eggs. The original Italian Bismark recipe doesn’t require the peppers and the onions. I added the vegetables to it for extra flavor. This dish is very tasty! I hope you try it.

Serving: 4 people

Ingredients:

4 slices Beef Round Steak or Beef Steak

1 large Onion

3 large Green Bell Pepper

4 Eggs

Parsley

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Pepper

Salt

Preparation

Warm the oil in a skillet. When the oil is hot, add the sliced peppers and sliced onions.

On high heat cook for the peppers and onions for 5 minutes.

Add the salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.

Cook in medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes.

Put the cooked vegetables in a serving plate and leave it on the side.

In the same pan, cook the meat with extra virgin olive oil. Each slice of meat should weight approximately 4oz each.

Add salt, pepper and cook the meat for 5 minutes on each side.

On a separate pan, drizzle a pan with extra

virgin olive oil, fry the eggs and make sure the egg white is not running. Add a pinch of salt.

Lay the meat on top of the cooked peppers and onions. Add the eggs on top of the meat. Sprinkle with a little fresh chopped parsley.

Enjoy it.

Buon Appetito!

A whole new twist for me on “steak and eggs”. This is definitely one I’ll be making. Kobe beef might be a bit overkill, but you only go around once.
