This recipe is dedicated to  my son . He requested it. My daughter-in-law, whom I love very much, does not enjoy cooking. My poor son tried to make spaghetti with tuna,  but they ended up buying pizza instead. I’m very proud of him for trying, but I hope this recipe can help you next time.  I also want to send a big hug to my daughter-in-law. Even if she doesn’t feed my son, I still love her very very much.

Ingredients

1 lb of Spaghetti

12 oz peeled tomatoes ( San Marzano )

2 cans (5 oz) of tuna in olive oil

2 gloves garlic

2 tbsp fresh parsley

5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

salt

pepper

Preparation

Boil a pot of water. Once the water is boiling, add salt and then spaghetti. Cook the pasta al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, put the extra virgin olive oil and the garlic in a pan. Cook them for about 1 minute. Add the tuna, cook for another 2 minutes. Stir it very well. Add the chopped tomatoes and the chopped parsley. Turn the heat to low. Cook for 20  minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Mix the sauce with the spagetti.

Buon Appetito!

Special note:

Hi Luciana.

I love you!
